April 29, 2006.  Update: I have become friends with the new Comet. While I truly miss the warmth and atmosphere of the old haunts, the staff and atmosphere has won me over. I cannot always afford to go, and the brunch on Saturdays and Sundays are crazy-packed.

 

I keep this site alive because the internet demands it. I am developing my Milwaukee page to feature other places and events I love here in my Midwesten city, but the cafe around the corner from where I've lived for nine years deserved its own tribute.

 

I scanned the menu pages, but I cannot find them at the moment. I will post them when I do. For now, please be satisfied with these words and images, plus the profile I did of co-owner Scott Johnson I did for the UWM Leader this month.
